They are widely regarded as one of the most famous designs of the legendary yacht designer and builder, Nathanial Greene Herreshoff, the "Wizard of Bristol," the NYYC 30 immediately became one of the most coveted racing sailboats in the world. Our model of the Herreshoff "NYYC 30" is built to the same high standards of all of our models. She is constructed from scratch by skilled craftsmen, plank on frame just like the original and has been approved by the Herreshoff museum. The model is faithful to the original in all details with a scale of 1" equals 1". At each step along the way, all operations are painstakingly done by hand including a finely finished hull in paint, varnish trim and painted canvas deck covering.
